The workshops are an excellent opportunity to start a fascinating adventure with the artistic processing of glass, which is cutting, decorating and firing. Each of the stages allows to improve manual skills, which are so important for school education. During the classes, participants will learn that you don’t have to be an artist to create art, as Ralph Waldo Emerson used to say, “every artist once started as an amateur”.
Program

Discussion of health and safety rules for working with glass. The participant will receive a previously prepared, safe glass plate and a set of paints for decorating. Finished works will be fired in a kiln and can be taken home. During the firing, the instructor will demonstrate tools and methods for cutting glass. Subsequent classes will deepen the knowledge with new, more complicated techniques for working and decorating glass.
