Characteristics
The workshop is an excellent opportunity to begin a fascinating adventure with the artistic processing of glass, which is cutting, decorating and firing. Each of the stages allows to improve manual skills, which are so important for school education. During the classes, the participants will learn that you don’t have to be an artist to create art, as Ralph Waldo Emerson used to say, „every artist once started as an amateur”.
Programme
Getting acquainted with safety rules of working with glass. Creating your own project (drawing), cutting out glass elements and preparing them for firing. Subsequent classes will deepen the knowledge of new, more complicated techniques of processing and decorating glass. The price includes the firing of the glass in the kiln and all the necessary materials. You are welcome to pick up your works on the next day.
